Gundaroo Retreat

Gundaroo Retreat is located on the fringe of the Barossa Valley and is set on 50 acres of picturesque land with rolling farmland, trees, and hills. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a girl's weekend away, or just traveling with friends or family.

The cottage is set in a scenic location with a cosy wood fire and a lovely deck to relax on, providing a pleasing blend of rustic charm and modern conveniences.

The cottage is attached to the main house and separated by an outdoor entertaining area. We are a working Alpaca farm and will sometimes be working on the tractor or in the garden.

You are more than welcome to wander around the garden and go up to the fence to see the alpacas

Tracey and Chris were very welcoming and greeted us on arrival. peaceful and beautiful surroundings and alpacas were a treat, such beautiful animals.

Accommodation was very well presented, bedding and couch were extremely comfortable and had the best sleep both nights.

Couldn’t recommend this place and Tracey high enough, went with two friends and we’ve all said we will take our families back.

Gundaroo is the perfect place to stay to for any occasion. It is so peaceful and serene in Cromer, and the cottage itself is super cosy.

We instantly felt at home. There’s nothing I’d want change about the whole experience.

Tracy and her husband are extremely warm and inviting. The term “super host” absolutely rings true. They are very accommodating and allowed us to explore their beautiful farm, along with an opportunity to feed their very friendly alpacas.

I 100% recommend visiting Gundaroo or their stunning Tiny Home at least once, I can guarantee it will be worth it.

Went out of the way to educate how Alpacas function and the feeding for them was the icing on the cake.
